proximity Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 Hi guys, thought I'd throw up a few (pretty bad quality ) pics that I took with my phone today at a Sled Dog Derby. There were dozens of sibes there, it was an amazing atmosphere! I had to get up at 4am and drive for an hour and a half to get there, before convoying into a forest where if I was murdered, noone would hear me scream. Upon getting there I met some wonderfully friendly people who were very passionate about sibes. I'll definitely be talking to them more in the future, and looking to join their club, as they were very skilled at working their sibes - who seemed to love every minute of the day! I took a few vids I'll look at uploading and posting here later, but here are some pics for now to tide you over! And here some are all tuckered out after a big 6dog team run! The funniest thing of the day was hearing dozens of sibes howling and woowooing in unison with a couple of mals, while one Samoyed was squeaking louder than everyone, in a high pitched squeak like a toy.
