Wiltshire Huskies meet

We joined the Wiltshire Huskies facebook group a while back, and we had a meet at a dog park on the edge of RAF Lyneham yesterday - there were about 15 huskies, all offlead! A couple of minor disagreements between dogs, but nothing too drastic :) For those who remember Micky's not-very-friendly ways of saying hello to other dogs, he's brilliant off the lead - he was sniffing a red huskamut, who wasn't keen on Mickey and growled, and Mickey wandered off to sniff someone else! He's still not keen on us saying hello to other dogs, but was getting better on that, which is brilliant :) He did seem to enjoy getting mounted by another dog a little *too* much tho....

I've put the photos on Picasa again, Picasa Linky, rather than stick them all on here

Hope you all had a good bank holiday,

Vince, Claire and Mickey

Wow looks like you had a fantastic time.

Really good to see Mickey getting on so well with others.

I think it might be the fight or flight problem with him.

When he's on a lead he can't run away so he has to fight. which shows as his aggression.

However off lead he has the choice to run or sniff, and so he's calmer.

It's always great to see them all off lead chasing each other.

we're not that far away maybe we can make one in the future.biggrin.gif
