Val (Zebedee) Posted August 30, 2010 Report Share Posted August 30, 2010 while negotiating our way to the Southport craft show, I was looking in the A-Z & we passed Cockle Dick's Lane - now, I don't know who Cockle Dick was, but he was important enough to have a road named after him! (I'm assuming as we were near the beach, he was head cockler in his day!!) There is also a Ralph's Wife's Lane nearby - she must have been important too, but they couldn't remember her name!!!!!!!!!
