i use a car forum alot and someone made a thread on there saying how they have been out street racing with any car that would race them, so i replyed to show my discust and inform them that they could have an accident and hurt an innocent party or even kill them, (anyone see the police camera action program on drivers speeding?) well now i am being made to look like the bad one and everyone is getting on my back for telling him he is stupid (he's 19 ) why are they so many idiots in this world that have no regard for other people? :( maybe its because i have kids and like to put there safty first?

There are always some immature idiots on any site, who think doing stuff that is dangerous or illegal is "fun"

report them to the mods and admin. IF the admin are happy to support these idiots and thier stupid activities . . . .

leave the site.

I'm sure there are others you can go to

That's aweful...I've had my experiences with the 'race' crowd...

At a residential treatment center for teenagers with high functioning mild mental retardation and other mental health issues...we had a staff put the kids in the trunk of their cars...and go drag racing...a block away from an elementary school.

They were fired and abuse charges were filed against them...they couldn't figure out why...

When I was in Iraq we had a 19 year old kid who did alot of street racing, but he'd also almost died in multiple accidents...I don't think it was until after his daughter was born that it sunk in that he could really hurt someone...

As we age it's harder and harder to remember exactly how urgent and OMG everything was when were were tip toeing into adulthood...I sorta remember, and I wouldn't trade the ability to be able to look at the big picture and long term consequences for the frenzied carelessness and hormones on overdrive of the late teenage years

You did the right thing telling the kid he was a dumbass...it won't sink in until something horrible happens to him, or something truely life altering...it's sad but once it's gotten to that point there's little to be done after you say your peace. Yes you can share that some random chic somewhere else said all of these things with your car forum idiots. You can even tell them i called them idiots

Good for you for standing up and telling him what an idiot he is - the trouble with people like him is that its always someone else that gets hurt and not them. Something of which I have personal experience of when I was hit by a souped up Escort RS Turbo appearing around a bend on the wrong side of the road, he hit my car head on, fortunately I escaped with a broken ankle, broken fingers, broken wrist, broken ribs and severe bruising but I was in hospital for 2 weeks and off work for 6 months (this was all nearly 21 years ago by the way). I was taken away by ambulance so didn't really get a good look at my car but when my Dad went to pick up my things from it, the garage guy was passing on his condolences as he thought I was dead - my car was completely destroyed. Oh yes and they put the other driver in the ambulance with me cos he had a piece of glass in his face - poor guy !!!!

I still suffer with my injuries all these years later as my ankle never completely healed properly and if I overdo it I am limping for a couple of days - still at least I am alive to tell the tale.

So I say once again good for you Ice for telling it like it is - please don't stop :)
