Val (Zebedee)
Took a last decision trip to Ingleton Waterfall Trail yesterday, what a place!! Absolutely stunning but by 'eck, what a climb!! The weather was fab, we were very grateful at the crests of hills (and there were many!) for the blasts of cool breeze & the strategically placed seating!! It took us 3.5 hrs to stroll the 4.5 mile trail, stopping for a cuppa, an ice cream & a breather or two along the way. Here's some pics: Some remains of what we can only think was some industrial building for the extraction of iron from the rock Us two & the dogs having a breather at the top, not quite at the highest point yet!! The dogs enjoying a break at the cafe Some strange trunks & carved toadstools that had coins hammered into them

FAIRLY GOOD????????? I thought any moment a group of army cadets were gonna come past with backpacks on!! Sheesh, I'm glad I'm off work next week, my calves are killing me!!!!!!!!! It was beautiful, though & Steve & I ummed & arrghed about a meet, I think a lot of it is too narrow for a group of dogs to go round there, but it is definitely worth considering, thanks for letting us know about it, Mark +

Val (Zebedee)
there was a green container at the top where you lock the top gate, before the fields full of sheep but that was all closed up, there was an ice cream van on the road at the top, then as you walked through the farm & down the field full of loose sheep there was a kiosk type cafe that looked fairly new.
