siberian_wolf
Steve took the dogs to the dog park earlier for a run, I stayed home when he got back, he told me Myshka got into a fight , she tried to hump an Old English Sheepdog which took offence & turned on her. It got Myshka's head in it's mouth & wouldn't let go. Steve reckoned it was locked on for 1 to 1.5 mins .... the woman owner panicked & didn't know what to do, Steve grabbed Myshka (and got bitten in the process ) and there is a bloke we often see who has 2 HUGE but soft dogs (Bella & Mini) who grabbed the sheepdog. It still wouldn't let go, Myshka was screaming, so this bloke stuck his fingers up the sheepdog's nostrils & it had to let go to breathe. Steve gave Myshka the once over & couldn't believe there were no marks on her! He came home & all seemed fine. I had a check but Myshka was obviously tender, I saw a little blood in her fur but nothing major. She ate her tea & has been acting normal. I called her to me for a cuddle before & just thought I'd check again, there is a hole the size of a 5p piece on the top of her head between her ears So, Steve has just called the emg vets, £109 call out fee before she's even seen but better to be safe than sorry - I just hope the actual skull bone is OK will let you know when he gets back or calls me as to what's happening awwwwwww Val Im soooo sorry to hear about Myshka Gizmo sends MILLIONS of kisses and hugs!!!!!!! Hope shes well soon. Tell her if she really wants to hump other dogs she can choose Gizmo anyday Im sure he wouldnt refuse! You said they got into a fight, is the other dog ok do you know? I think Myshka will think twice now before humping another dog. Get Well Soon Myshka xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Is steve ok?
Val (Zebedee)
Thanks, everyone, Steve seems to think it is the same dog that bit Sarah will ask him about the woman (I've been out since 07:45 & only got home 1 hr ago, guess who's asleep on the sofa?? awwwwwww Val Im soooo sorry to hear about Myshka Gizmo sends MILLIONS of kisses and hugs!!!!!!! Knowing Myshka, it won't stop her daft mare! we just need to be quicker, I suppose ... it wasn't so much a fight as the sheepdog turned & clamped on to Mysh's head, then kept hold till it was wrestled off with some blokes fingers up it's nose! And Steve is fine, it was just scratches, thankfully. The wound is still open & not scabbing over, she might need a stitch but we'll wait till the vet has had a look
Cathy
Poor Myshka -- that looks just nasty. So it's only a flesh puncture, right, her brains are still well encased in that pretty head of hers? Gosh, what a fright. Interesting to see if it is the same dog. If so, the owner needs to seek professional help for herself and her dog right away. I am so sorry for what happened. Best wishes and hugs from us for Myshka's speedy recovery.
