Hoping for the sun to shine again soon, though they really don't care until it's time to wipe feet!!!:o

Well yday it peeeeeee'd it down although it was windy not quite as bad a 50mph!!! We just got wet! LOL I'm a dog walker so had a dog counting on me to take him out and thought may as well get my pooches as wet as me! But if I dont have to walk another dog then I keep rainy day chewy bones in and give them around luch time to keep them from bouncing off the walls! :)

They do go out and play in the yard, like the blur I just saw go by the window with water and mud splashing up from under their feet. I let them in and out through the garage, and that confuses Andy a lot because "outside" means the door at the deck, and "go for a walk" means the garage door. He needs convincing to go out the "wrong" door. Jackson just started sitting and waiting when the door is opened, unless he has his leash on...so it's been a way to see that the training is actually working. I DO walk them in the rain, but it really is blowing that hard....Jennett? How is it in Eau Claire?

It's one of the draw backs of owning a dog, what ever the weather they need to go for a walk. I have neighbours who just let the dog out in the garden when they feel taking the dog out is to much like hard work. If people are like this, they shouldn't be allowed to own dogs.

People are actually being blown over on the streets from the wind whipping so badly...and the on & off rain/snow flurries. We do have a large yard so I may be one of those that let them out in the "garden" but not very often. I do doubt though that I will be walking in January/February when it's 20 below. You can still love your dog and not walk every day! We start treadmill training as soon as I get the replacement key!

It's wet and pretty blowy here in Eau Claire. Flying in to Minneapolis last night was quite an experience--the pilots got a round of applause when we finally touched down.

We took Milla out to the park this morning (she hadn't been in a week as we've been out of town) but there was no one there to play with. Right now we're all cuddled under blankets and sleeping.

I run around the house with Pongo he loves this. I chase him and he runs up the stairs and in the bedrooms and down the stairs. It's like a game of tag lol. Thank goodness we have a nice big house now and not the apartment! He HATES getting wet so potty breaks are short and he just goes out, goes and runs back in lol. He also plays chase the cats as well haha.

It's been pretty nasty in Michigan the past couple days as well. High wind warning, rain, possible snow flurries. Normally we take Lyra out 3 times per day no matter what, but she's recovering from her spay surgery, so I've been convincing Aaron that MAYBE 1 walk a day is fine, if not 0 walks for now. The vet prescribed her a sedative to keep her calm, as her incision was leaking, so she can barely walk straight. It looks like she's drunk!
