kellystewart
I'd say an automatic as they find it hard to change gear when driving a manual HAHAHA sorry poor joke. I have a Chyrsler Grand Voyager which is awesome for my 4, as i can take out all the rear seats and it's like a van. Get an LPG converted one though as too expensive to run on petrol. slaves to kaya
Hi dave with your pack and the camping gear maybe you need a transit LOL we have 4 dogs in a volvo V40 but our camping things go in a trailor. i would have thought a landrover would be fine for the dogs but depends on how much camping gear you have. friends of ours has a dog trailor but they paid 3 grand for it, but maybe a thought
Rosemary
If we could afford it a Land Rover (or similar) would be our car of choice, but we settled for an LDV - an Opel Corsa Lite 1600i Sport. Does the job, and is very economical to run. We get 14km/l.
Tan J P
Ive got a ford puma 1 in the boot(no parcel shelf on obviously i'm not that cruel) and pup in the footwell works ok at the mo....although fit in hubbys octavia much better lol
raindog
We've usually got 12 or more dogs with us so we use the van. When we just take a few dogs with us, we use our Vauxhall Zaphira which is an awesome vehicle. It's like the Tardis - much more room than you would imagine from the outside. We have a fitted cage in the back which comfortably fits 3 adult Sibes (or one Leonberger) and if we need to take more, we can put down the middle seats and put in another crate which comfortably fits 2 adult sibes. Not very stylish or posh, but amazingly practical (and relatively cheap - starting at £14k) Mick
Tikaani&Aiyana
Land Rover Defender, our two can jump in the back as there are no seats and it doesn't matter how dirty they are

renniwano
I have a scenic.. Neo loves it in the boot - plenty of space and still room for the three kids *or camping eqt.* in the rear

lyra
I have a Dodge Neon and Aaron has a Nissan Maxima... not the best cars for a dog! Our dream vehicles are a Subaru Outback and Nissan Rogue or Murano. It's funny how my number 1 priority for a future vehicle is how large the trunk space is!
