waamo Posted November 30, 2010 Report Share Posted November 30, 2010 Ouch hate to say that is a really simple job that a sparky will charge an arm and a leg for. All you need to do is knock the power off and unscrew your light from the ceiling. Check the connections (at least 1 will be loose) and tighten them all up. Rescrew light to ceiling, put power back on. It's best done with 2 people. 1 to hold the light as they are heavy and 1 to screw everything in. Really, really simple but expensive because of the time it takes. They will most likely charge call out fee plus hourly rate..min 1 hour and that costs.
