Shura100
Well about half an hour ago Shura was outside on the front (leashed up ofcorse) and this mal x alsation comes along. Ill start when i was last away. Well when i went away This dog in question cam in the house twice!! and it has come here EVERYTIME it gets off lead or gets out. Away this dog comes here again so shura stands her ground i have never seen her do that ever, it tried coming in barging past me and she went for it she went for its throat (did pierce at all) but i managed to get hold of it and shove it out but then it tried it again so i had to kick it this time (felt really bad but i had to think of dani and shura who was going mad). Anyway this boy comes along not even the owner it tokk him a couple of minutes before he decided to grab it so when he did i turned around and took shura in to check her over, luckily she alright was just shaken. I feel so sorry for this poor dog he has no life always left out back and not trained all it wants to do is get away from them I don't want to report him to the RSPCA because with his behvioural issuse im worried they might just put him to sleep which he does not deserve. I want to help him but i dont know what to do He deserves a much better life then he's got and he so loverly (apart from trying to get in the house). Thanks for reading xx
slaves to kaya
Awww Poor thing. It sounds like he has taken a shine to you, do you know his owners personally? maybe you could have a chat with them and maybe invite them on some walks etc

slaves to kaya
If you feel he is being neglected in anyway I would ring the RSPCA for advice. They could offer the owners some advice??
Chewbacca_&_me
I know this may sound horrible, but... I think maybe you may end up doing the Mal a huge favor by calling authorities that will get him away fromthose people. I dont know them but it seems like a classic case of mistreatment and stupidity. He may actualy be a good dog that needs a good owner. I can tell you that chewy (who is half mal) does sometimes display some odd behaviors but when I step in he backs off and in my experience with other mals and mal mixes, it just takes an owner/trainer/caregiver a few days to teach a mal to relax and back off, so he is not likely a lost cause, he just needs someone to give a sheet- about him.... if you continue to have him come to your house because they dont care enough to get out and get him back, then maybe it will be a good idea to see if there is someone who can take him in and work with him and get him a new home. I know that alot of places arent going to give him much of a trial period before giving up on him, but there is a good chance he could end up having a much better life
SarahNukka&Shadow
hhhmmm you say you think his behaviour would get him PTS? But other than trying to barg into your house you didnt say he was agressive at all? He just sounds pushy and that is completely normal for a dog his size thats had no training or rules laid out for him! What area do you live in? Can you try to find out if your dog warden in your area passes unclaimed dogs on to shelters to be rehomed? If they do I'd say that sounds like his best bet, they will keep him for 7 days and then if the owner does collect him they will charge them a heffty fine for allowing him to stray that should teach them a lesson and if they dont collect him they should send him to a shelter to be rehomed. Although do check they will rehome as some councils keep for 7 days then PTS regardless of temprament! Good luck, let us know how it works out! BingBlaze n Skyla
i would report it hun, they wouldnt put him to sleep, they would rehab him and get him some training, they only put down dogs they feel are a threat to people
Stormy
poor boy definately get him out of there!
Andy
If he comes around again try to contain him in your garden and call the local dog warden they are on your local council website. They will take him away and try to find out who the owners are. They will be charged approx £50 per day. I think after 2 weeks they will go to a local shelter. Shura100
Thanks for the replys everyone xx The reason why i said was ive had bad experiances with the RSPCA. I will make some phone calls in the morning and hopfully get the poor boy out of there. Its not the fact he's pushy but he's had no training at all and is just very unruley the times i have met him without him being near the house he doesnt seem visous at all but today he did try and go for shura if i hadn't of grabbed him when i did x

RonSalmon
no he went first to try and get in the house x He just barged in? then your dog bit him and you kicked him....did he get agressive after all of this? If not i'd say you overreacted to a dog that just wants attention.
Shura100
Ron and Brennin i did not overreact i do not know the the dog nether its temperment there is a young child in the house Yes shura went for him because she is protecting her home. I wasnt going to just let him bound in when he could easily hurt the little one am i? The dog is huge and very strong what else am i ment to do to stop him going in. Shura100
No he wasnt wearing anything when he came down. I couldnt close the door coz it was hooked to the wall so it wouldnt close when Shuras out so he would of got in when i went to close it x
Kells xx
ive read this a bunch of times and to me it stills comes out as this dog rushed at shura (bad socialisation) shura bit it (defending her territory) you kicked it (too far) it was not growling or attacking shura......she had gripped it and was telling it off... had the dog been growling/showing teeth then yes there may have been a danger but to me its like the dog wanted to play but doesnt know doggy manners if i kicked everydog that has wandered into my house to rush/see my dogs then i would have been charged with abuse ages ago....imo as long as there is no fight or obvious aggression then let them play
