So, if there are 5 bank holidays in a year then they will include 5 days, if there are 4 then 4 days ect. I work shifts and if a shift falls on a bank holiday we have to request it of as a holiday. Mike has to work Tuesday, we're lucky he has Christmas off (being a police officer, you can't pick and choose!) but i'm glad that he at least gets double pay!
