trackers
Just wondering what type of brush is best to get for grooming huskys. I have bought a couple of cheaper ones and they dont last two minutes.

Spinstorm
I have a furminator as well and its amazing how well it works. It gets fur easily off and its quick and efficient!
lynnmw1208
I agree to go with the rake also. works way better than our furminator. I also use a slicker brush to get all the loose hair off after using the rake.

It gets fur easily off and its quick and efficient! word of warning, guys, some people swear by the furminator, some (like me) hate it with a passion!! It's each to their own opinion, but I found the furminator cut the guard hairs & over a period of time grooming with it, it damages the guard hairs & the coat in general, some dogs have ended up with almost bald patches. So if you use the furminator, be delicate in how you use it & you should be OK
Staceybob
I would personally try the undercoat brush. I brought the furminator and it's ok... but I think my experience with making the cat bald has made me scared to use it on Aleu. Part of me wishes I'd have tried this mikki brush first.
