WHY IS PICKING UP YOUR DOGS POO STILL TOO MUCH FOR SOME!!!!

I always try to get her poo, but since there is so much snow,

I can't always get to it. I always have a bag in my coat pocked though :)

I also bought a little thing for her leash that holds a roll of poopie bags.

It is against the law not to pick up your dogs poo, here. It is a health

issue for the Department of Disease Control and Prevention (they

are trying to prevent disease epidemics from humans as well as

animals). There are all kinds of things that can be spread through

fecal matter. People who just leave that waste around all the time

have no regard for other people's animals. They are also lazy slobs

who think they are above picking up after their animal.

I can't stand that either!!! We live in a neighborhood where its written in the covenants that you HAVE to pick it up (which I do anyway bc its the right thing to do and bc I work for an environmental agency). Why have it in there if you aren't going to enforce it...that and many other things (lol...Can you tell I'm fed up?)?! How hard it it for them to take a plastic bag (I reuse them after I buy groceries for dog poo) and pick it up?! Ugggh!! Now if its soft like mentioned above, I try my best to get it all up, but usually end up leaving some.

I've only ever caught someone letting their dog do it and leaving it once here, but it really got my heckles up. I went and picked it up with one of my spare bags, and as I walk past them tossed them the bag and just said something along the lines of "This is yours, try to pick it up yourself next time, it's the law after-all". They didnt say anything back, just kind of gaped their mouth open and shut like a goldfish eating.

I think the thing that annoys me most is that we're judged by their actions.
