snssewell Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 I actually just finished my college degree online ( Marc did it in Computer Programming ) and you would not believe the things I have seen on our Discussion Boards at College. Discussion Boards are kind of like a forum but students get grades for what they post there and everyone in class can read it. By all means my spelling is not perfect, but I am English Second Language. I was always thinking, if I know it's wrong, then they should know it's wrong! The two that would irritate me the most were "Are" and "Our" ---- Are dog is the cutest! And "Since" and "Sense" ---- That does not make since to me! "Did you see the movie "The 6th Since" And of course the others that were already mentioned were always there too. LOL. I think it is ok to write like that on forums and such cause not too many people care. But in school/work you should really proof read what you write.
