kirasmum Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 Hello all!! After spending the past few days lurking around here I finally decided to sign up. But where are my manners? Meet Kira! She's 14 months old (but may as well be 14 weeks!) and we brought her home to live with us on Friday. She's extremely playful and could give a puppy half her age a run for their money, but while she can be quite a handful at times, she's an absolute treasure. I've owned one other husky in my life, my perfect little boy Ty, who sadly passed away a few years ago from gastrointestinal disease. While there's nothing the doctors could have done for him I know he's in a better place now and waiting for me at the rainbow bridge. Please keep the pics coming, she is a gorgeous girl Ty wasn't a rescue no, we raised him from a pup. It's why I was so willing to get another. Is she a rescue girl? hope you have good look round this great site and look forward to seeing more pics We got her from a lovely couple just north of us who had placed an ad for her online. They'd recently moved house and had another baby as well as changed jobs. It all meant that they were no longer caring for her properly - she wasn't getting enough exercise or attention so they decided to find someone who would make sure she was cared for properly.
