Saffmonster
She's been in hospital a week and mum is finally being released today!! Her infections have gone, her left knee is just bruised and she is still waiting to have her broken fibula plastered properly (they can't put on a proper plaster because her ankle is still too swollen ). HeatherZeman
I'm not sure who Mum is or why she was in the hospital, but I'll still toast to a speedy recovery and a home release!

Val (Zebedee)
Dani, that is great news, she will feel so much happier in her own environment, but is there anyone that can be with her to help her out for a short while? She'll have fun making a cuppa & trying to get that back in the living room to enjoy with a crutch & a bad hop

Saffmonster
It's never ending!! Turns out she shouldn't have been discharged. She can't use her crutches (she's disabled, has no strength in her arms and can't hop) and can't get to the loo on her own. The docs, nurses and physio at the hospital were under the impression that there would be someone at home with her 24hrs to help her out. Well, there is someone there 24 hrs...my grandma who's on crutches too!!! We've been ringing round everywhere to see if we can borrow a wheelchair or comode and lets just say that it would be easier to get an appointment to see the queen than getting social services or anyone else to help out! We think she may have to be re-admitted
