SiberianAsh
Hi everybody, I recently got a husky called Ash about 5 months ago, when he was 8 weeks old. Unfortunately he gets quite excited and starts to bite, does anyone have any tips as to stop him biting?
BingBlaze n Skyla
welcome to the pack - would love to see some pics what do you currenty do to try and stop him mouthing - usually a yelp like what his littermates would do usually helps
Marley & Lumikkis Mummy
Hi and welcome, I was going to suggest a short sharp yelp when he does it, I have a 7 week old pup here and when he mouths thats what we are doing and he is letting go straight away. Its what their litter mates would do if they were still together
slaves to kaya
:bananen_smilies022: Hi ya and a big warm welcome to the forum Dont worry most puppies go through the nibbling stage, do the yelp sound as nix said then give him something he can chew, he should soon get the message and dont forget we need PICS!!!! valhalla
Hi Jennifer and welcome to the forum, Our Odin did this but has now grown out of it when he found his place in our home, he had to know where he stands as he tried to dominate us, a sharpe No or as Nix said a yelp will help, others on this site will have some ideas as well but he will get to know whats what as he grows, where are you in Oxfordshire ?
