Training to walk

Darwin is currently on a Halti, to get him to walk nicely. We are slowly swapping to a normal semi slip.

However when I take him out on my Bike with the WalkyDog atatchment he is in a Harness.

He knows he's allowed to pull on the harness, but not on the normal collar.biggrin.gif

That sounds like a good idea. Is that the best way to get them to know the difference? When I get my husky, I want to train him to walk without pulling, but when I'm on a skateboard, I want him to pull with all his might!

We have normal neck collars for vet visits and places where we need them to walk calmly (not that it is always successful  ) and their harnesses for walking in the forest and on the beach - then they can pull as much as they like.
