imstarvin
Who am I kidding? After having the door frames, flooring, bamboo, strubs, fence etc chewed I thought about getting a dog run but was still reluctant. Then caught Sashka climbing up the fence, actually at the top of the fence. I decided the time had come to purchase a dog run for during the day when we are not home. As you can see in the picture it takes up nearly all of the back yard. But hey who's the most important around here? I got an anti chew dog box, yeah right! The metal frame was supposed to stop them chewing. The first week they decided that a ventilation hole in the side if it would be good. So set to work and in no time at all a gapping big hole appeared in the side. Not be be beaten I have now attached metal grills from an old fire guard to the insides of the box and so the battle continues

ocspirit
If I were you I would either move that doghouse away from the fence (especially since you already mentioned Sashka being a fence climber) or, attach the doghouse from the outside of the fence so they can't get on top.....Or close off the top LOL
dygosamikita
That is quite like the run we have. Did you get the roof panels with it? If not you can get rolls of the welded mesh that is used for the sides. We used some L beams stretched across the run, we then welded the mesh onto those. imstarvin
We plan on getting corrugated plastic for the top as they sit in the rain rather than getting into the box. The plastic bed was put on top of the box for now forgot to move it. They have not jumped up on to the box yet!
