well, we're home  what a saga! Encourage Mysh into her cage with accompanied yelps & screams  conservatory door & front door taken off their frames to get the cage out. Got her to the vets who encouraged her out of the crate to see her walk (cue more screams :( ). The vet asked for Mysh to be muzzled (we don't know what Mysh would do if the vet hit the sore spot) then proceeded to quite firmly manipulate every vertebrae from the neck down. She assumed from our description of the day's events it was spinal. We held our breath .... nothing! Not a flinch

The upshot is, Mysh has been given anti-inflammatories & a pain killer to last till we can get her to our vets tomorrow for further investigation. She needs 100% crate rest. We could have left her in there overnight but she doesn't want to move anyway so we brought her home, less stressful for her. She will probably have to have either 1) x-ray; 2) CT / MRI scan or 3) a dye injected into her to show the discs in the spinal column to see what is wrong. So we're no nearer knowing what it is, but a little nearer knowing what it's not, if that makes sense!!

She is in her crate now, sleeping (not like her) with Diesel's bed moved next to her as he has done nothing but sulk since she hurt herself & hates when she's ill :(

So, the story continues tomorrow :(

Thank you SO much to everyone who has sent wishes & enquired about her, that is why I love this place, full of caring people who understand how nutty we are about our furbabies, xxxxxxxxx
