SaraB Posted June 16, 2011 Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 He's a big boy! Elara is 7 months and stands 19inches at the shoulders (not sure about at her head or her weight, probably in the 30's). Siku who is 16 months stands 22.5inches at the shoulders and is about 45lbs. But I've seen bigger and smaller huskies. The AKC standard is 21.5 to 23inches for males (at the shoulder) and 45 to 60lbs and females 20 to 22inches and 35 to 50lbs. So my older female is a little over the standard at the shoulder. He seems to be leveling off, but I guess only time will tell. His father was pretty solid in his build, so I expect Sabaka to be similar to him.
