oh good to know that I met another husky lover ^_^ maybe you can kidnap your neighbor's husky and take pics of him/her? :P LOL

Anyway welcome to this site, pls don't be shy to ask around. And we would always be happy to tell you things you have to deal with once you bring home your very own husky puppy :) for example: excessive howls, heavy shedding, high prey drive, natural instinct to escape from your yard... x) you already know about all this right?

Good job for doing your research!!! There's a lot to love about this breed, but if it isn't the right breed for you, it can be a real nightmare - please make sure you know what they're like to live with and what they need before you get one! They need a lot of time and exercise - they are kind of like having a perpetual toddler around, as a general rule. They can be very predatory around cats and other small animals, and need to be on a leash or in a fenced area, as they were bred for centuries to run - frequently 100 miles each day!
