just wondering what kind of collar you use when staking out your husky? dont want to use a prong or choke cause that could go very bad very fast... she gets out of a regular collar, and 3 diff harnesses no probs..

thanks all.

:camping: (need to know for when i start going on overnight hikes/camping very soon!)

We use a webbing half check for anything to do with working.

You can get good ones from Sarah at Willows Leads - http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_156522404374636&notif_t=group_activity

semi slips should be fine as long as adjusted correctly, or the adjustable standard webbing collars sold by many sled dog sport outfitters. try country hounds, culpeppers or snowpawstore, dont use the chain half checks as not suitable for dogs staked out. as for harnesses, try the manmat distance harness. excellent, padded, solid and designed for working sled dogs.
