I met up yesterday with the Larne husky owners group, had a lovely afternoon and we got to let our huskies run free in an enclosed feild! It was SO good to see my little Indie playing with other huskies and Oshy socialising with other dogs offlead for the first time in his life! heres some of our pics!!! Heres Oshy greeting his new friend Heres Mark's girl Luna TRYING to snaffle some treats off my husband Myles Kara(i think) trying to give Luna a kiss The Larne huskies gang up on Indie (you can only just see her little legs sticking out underneath!) Myles makes friends with Luna and Indie sits protectively nearby. I was so close to stealing away baby Zorro! He is so fluffy and cute! He even had a little nap in his owner's arms near the end of the meet. Scrumptious!!! If I'm not wrong, Luna belongs to one of Husky-Owners member right? Yeah, Little Luna belongs to Mark Johnston, he is a member on here! And it's the first time Indie has been able to properly socialise offlead, and Oshy aswell for that matter. Because of his foggy history I was a little unsure how he would act offlead with other dogs. He is pretty grumpy a lot of the time, but even he had a nice time with the others and was quite gentle, until a young female one called Cody decided to try and mount him and then he got pretty grouchy again, snapped at a few dogs in a warning kind of way and he then went back on his lead. It's a good chance to talk about problems and solutions to things with others who understand the hard work of sharing your life with a husky.
