aronoiiel
Diesel has started this new thing with Kiana when they play in my dad's yard of grabbing her scruff and shaking her like freaking rag doll O_o Kiana doesn't seem to mind as she has a big old grin and doesn't yelp or anything but eesh sometimes I wonder if her head is going to pop off. Any ideas? Should I be addressing this somehow? I have a vid I took today if it will help lol.
aronoiiel
Here's the vid he does it at I think 1:10 in the vid and yes if you watch the whole thing I call that her ninja move lol
Tanya-Meika&Keeva
Meika does this to Keeva but its his collar she grabs and shakes just like your Diesel does
sutsibe
Pretty normal, if rough, husky play! If my boys play too roughly like that, and the girls (or for that matter, the older boys) don't like it, they'll just refuse to play. Rory tells her son Zeke off for it routinely! Paranormal Wolf
Kuma does this to Koopa all the time, usually on his collar though. If it gets too rough I'll make them stop but Koopa doesn't seem to mind one bit.
Rosemary
Mine do that too. Ozzy seems to like having Micah's neck in his mouth and he shakes her like a rag doll. When she has had enough, she lets him know and he stops immediately - he knows better
natalie
Kira does this as well, she is just playing rough
Tan J P
yep as horrifying as it looks its the norm for them i do sometimes step in,but usually it stops as quick as it began
Indigo & Oisin
Indie is always hanging off Oshy's neck, the poor guy has got a rather baggy neck now!
Shadowpup
Perfectly normal Yuri and Aya are always doing this to eachother.

Removed #2
Yup, looks like a husky thing...check out my videos...you'll see it!
Indigo & Oisin
Oisin does get angry sometimes and warns Indie off him, She's brave to pester him in my opinion, he's short tempered with other dogs, soft as anything with all people and kids but for some reason other dogs really grate on his nerves. Andy
Yeah, just playfighting. The grabbing and pinning by the neck is a dominance thing. It helps them sort their order in the pack. Without any real damage. Rather that than full on REAL fighting, which has completely different sound and body posture / movements. You'll know the difference. Thanks the vid is great. And WOW Huge Garden.
Sherrie_x
Our two do this all the time i was worried at 1st but they seem to have fun doing it i think it looks worse than it is
Marley & Lumikkis Mummy
mine do this to each other, infact its usually each others cheeks they go for but will shake each other the same as that.
Taiya Blue and Miko too
Yep, looks familiar! LOL! My two talk at the same time and i've already got to know the "play talk" and the "you're really hacking me off now" talk!
rose
It is normal rough husky play but do keep a watch it dosent get too rough as kavik did this neck shaking thing with sisko when she was younger & she had a trauma mass come up on her neck. Took a few weeks to go down.
aronoiiel
LOL aww thanks for the awesome replies guys! I wasn't concerned really about it being aggressive I know they were in play mode it was just shocking I guess to see him grab a mouthful of scruff and turn her into raggedy ann Kiana's NEVER done that to another dog so I wasn't sure what that was all about LOL. Rose: thank you for the heads up that was a concern of mine as well and I will definitely keep an eye out for that. Andy: LOL yeah it really is huge it's actually my dad's they aren't allowed so he rents it out to the fur kids a few times a week lol. He misses having a dog about and he gets all the fun of his granddogs without any of the mess or financial woes I in the mean time get some quiet time at home afterwards lol

And WOW Huge Garden. Oh yeah, I've seen dogs try to rip each other apart at the dog park (not Suka; though he has started some minor fights a few times due to him wanting to dominate everybody.) It's terrifying. They go up on their hind legs, snapping and snarling each other and they look like they would kill each other if they weren't separated.
