ivey
i am redoing the floors at the house, pulling up carpet and putting down pergo. when i removed the carpet there are multiple urine stains on the subfloor from our little dachshund. i was wondering how i need to clean this before putting down the new floor
Removed #1
Replace the subfloor, or talk to someone at a home improvement type place about using killz to seal it
ivey
i have kilz to put over it but i was wondering if i needed to clean it with something before i kilzed it
Austinville
I would def. visit the vet's office or pet supply store and find something to take the smell out before applying the Kilz. Otherwise it's an invitation to the next dog to urinate there.
ivey
found out vinegar is supposed to work really well to kill the odor and enzymes
