I did a few jumps at the Joint Services Parachuting Centre at Netheravon on Salisbury Plain with some Royal Marine friends a few years ago. The first jump was great - I felt really relaxed and loved it. The second jump was very different because they made us pack our own parachutes. I was very nervous - scared stiff that I had done something wrong in the packing and I would end up "going in." It was OK though!
