BlueWolf
Yes I do come here but don't think I can help you much My phone can only backup to simcard. Do you have an sd-reader in your computer? Can't you put it in there and try to find names that look similar to your contacts?

BlueWolf
When I sent it through Bluetooth it's apparently called <contact name>.vcf for me. Not sure it this is a Bluetooth-standard or the actual contact file.

elenamarie
You Nar m8 could not find the vcf file so I think I'll just format it when I've taken all the stuff I want off it You can export contacts in bulk to the sim card. The steps vary by phone but they all have the option.
Dunc
1st off good tip @Sparks I never mentioned a sim card at all Marc on phone all I wanted to know was the file name of a saved contact list and like I said in my OP its on the SD card I have since found out its saved as a business card so when I get time I'll take a look at Astro and see if I can find It I know you can import and export from the sim card @elenamarie but ta anyway
