Cathy
So sad. I believe that there is a special rainbow bridge for airshow performers -- Bobby Younkin, Jimmy Franklin, Jim LeRoy (who died during a solo act but performed with Bobby and Jimmy), Amanda Franklin (who died this year, daughter of bobby and wife of Jimmy's son Kyle Franklin), and now John Egging from the RedArrows. They give so much to inspire us and fuel our dreams.
Val (Zebedee)
from what I can gather, he had just finished his last routine when there was a problem. He didn't eject as he was more concerned about the Hawk flying towards houses & people, so he stayed to divert it from there & was caught in the crash. How brave do you have to be to do that?
