Grumpy Busted Posted August 25, 2011 Report Share Posted August 25, 2011 cheers for all the lovely comments and welcomes he is really cute i am from uk i live in lincolnshire i am getting a crate at some point this week so will start with that he is at the vets on friday for his jab and a micro chip. he is being good allready we have had him 4 days and he allready sits on command and goes to his bed when i tell him which im impressed about but when he is all ready to go out we are going to take him to training im just trying to get him toilet trained at the min I lived in Lincs for quite a few years, my children still live there with there mum in Stickney near Boston, we take our 2 over and stay in a caravan near Boston, if it is anywhere near you let us know and we will post next time we are over and maybe have a mini meet with the dogs. LamboLilly Posted August 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 so have had lambo a week now and i believe we are doing well, he is only going toilet on his pads and when we go outside we encourage him to go toilet and really praise him when he does we are getting there. but my main achievments is the he sits sits and waits till i tell him he can go to his food bowl goes to his bed when told and when he has been outside he sits by the door and waits for me to wipe his feet so we dont get drity carpets he stops what he is doing when i tell him no i also did read on the net some training tips and to not let your dog walk before you and he always walks behind me and wont go out a door unless i go first if im going that way. for a week i feel chuffed with his progress does anyone else have any other tips he will be going to some training classes in a couple of weeks after his jab and can i also ask some thoughts on crate training? cheers for you replys guys Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
