He has very little pigment at the back of his eyes (common in blue eyes, sometimes with humans, as well - mine are that way to some extent!), so you can see the blood vessels coloring the reflected light! Nah, it's camera red-eye, although you _can_ see it without a camera in some cases. It happens more frequently with blue eyes than with brown eyes, but it can happen regardless of the colour. With my old camera I had this issue with Glala and Dana, who have brown eyes, a lot (for some reason it never happened with my DSLR). Also it does occur in all eyes but more so in dogs with amazing blue eyes, like the wondefull huskies.
