Emma McConnellogue
Hi folks, I'm Emma and my boyfriend is James, we're about to become Husky Puppy Parents in just a few short weeks and can't WAIT. We visited a lovely lady and her partner last weekend, who had stunning parent dogs (with all proper papers) and an amazing litter of 5, chunky, playful pups. We were in love from the moment we met dad and hadn't even seen the pups yet! Independently, James and I have been researching the breed since we were quite young, I was at least 16, which is going on almost 10 years now, so we are as prepared as we can be without our little bundle of joy, I think. Our pup is male and we've named him Mjölnir - an Old Norse name He is currently 5.5 weeks old and doesn't come home with us until 24th September. We're currently Husky Proofing everything and buying in essentials like his crate and a puppy pen, baby gates, etc The time just isn't passing quick enough! Enough of my blethering, meet our handsome boy!
Biggles
Welcome, what a cute pup looking forward to more pics and updates on how he is doing. Mjölnir is Thor's hammer/Axe/Club and was said to be the most awsome of weapons and never failed him. Thor as you probably know is the Norse God of Thunder. Emma McConnellogue
That is exactly why he is so named, Biggles. We chose the name specifically for him. I have absolutely NO doubt he is going to be quite a big Sibe. His parents are quite large themselves, so I think his name literally meaning "crusher" is going to be apt Thanks for the welcome, guys! Emma McConnellogue
Thank you! My boyfriend and I sat for ages trying to find something suitable so the breeder could start using it and getting him used to it and he stumbled onto it and we thought it fitted him perfectly I look forward to being able to post more photos and getting to know you all and maybe even meeting some of you in the flesh too! James
Thanks everyone! @James - Myol-neer. The J is pronounced like a 'Y' and soft like in the word 'yes'. Yeah I know Js are pronounced like Ys in the scandanavian regions , was jsut unsure if the o was pronounced differently. and Oi! @Tripled

Emma McConnellogue
Fair enough James, I believe it's a kind "aww" pronunciation of the 'O'. My scottish accent saying it over and over out loud isn't helping ^.^

Emma McConnellogue
He'll be almost 9 weeks. We sadly have an inconveniently placed trip to Centre Parcs booked with some friends for a few days, but we pick him up the day after we get back

Emma McConnellogue
Yes, I just bet he will! I speak to the breeder almost everyday and she gave me photos of his parents when I asked so I could show them off AND apparently our little boy is a total cuddler! That can ONLY be a good thing because Husky snuggles look like the best snuggles EVER.
