DirectorsCut
I've seen a few posts about peanut butter, so I tried some in his kong with some of his normal treats but it has given him diarrhea. It has got to be the peanut butter, its the only thing he has had different from the norm. So is it just because he is not used to it or shall I not give him any more because it doesn't agree with him? Thanks

valhalla
That would depend on how much you gave him, we just smear some on a raw hide chew getting it into all the cracks and they love it, so just try a little at a time if he still gets diarrhea then stop
DirectorsCut
It was just a small amount, to bung the hole up on his puppy kong, then frozen.
valkyries
i use it mostly to make treats with, it could be that he's not used to it or it just may not be for him. there are some things 2 off mine love but 1 can't have as it goes straight through him xxx
Sally Wurster
I get the fresh ground peanut butter at our local food co-op. The stuff that comes in a jar has lots of additives upsets my girl's stomach. I make her a dog biscuit sandwich when I leave for work in the morning.
