I think they are beatable though, i think they lost in the recent tri nations, and they havent done great in the last couple of world cups. I think south africa might win it again... Personally I reckon France deserved to win it: I think they played a better style of rugby and I despise any team that runs the clock down at the end of the game. Until that game, France had been absolutely cr*p throughout the tournament but they earned a huge amount of respect for that game. During the tournament we saw some excellent rugby from Wales, Ireland, England, Scotland and France so I'm looking forward to the next Six Nations. I was really disappointed with Piri Weepu, who had been my player of the tournament up to the final - a awesome scrum half. He seemed incapable on the day of making a quick pass to his stand off - he always took several steps first, by which time the French flankers were putting the All-Black back line under pressure - and his kicking was diabolical. Still - as you say it was an exciting game to watch and Dusautoir, Harinordoquy and Rougerie didn't deserve to be on the losing side. I played at Esher (in the mid to lower sides) from about 1982 to 2007 apart from straying for the odd season to a few other local clubs (Vandals, Harlequins + a local amateur rugby league side).
