Our lab, the first dog of my adulthood, the late, great, Neo. He... is the one. The one who taught Gaga all her bad tricks. :)

Gaga as a baby, attacking my daughter's hair.

Gaga, as a bigger baby.. lol

Gojira, our boy we just lost. This was taken the second day we had him home, actually. Still very much a puppy.

Gaga and Gojira, all grown up.

Myself, Gojira, and his Honorary-Husky friend, Lulu.

The couch always was, more theirs than mine.

That was one big bone she was working on. It actually made her sit still long enough to become a kid-pillow. :)

My beloved man, and a plethora of puppies. The one furthest to the right, Dillinger, is whom we decided we simply could not, live without... and is now said beloved man's.. fur-son. :)

lovely photo's - your big boy looks beautiful, how could someone have abused him.

I really, simply do not know. He was a wreck when I met him at the rescue.. we'd gone looking for a dog, but not one as bad off as him. Came home with him anyway.. you cant really tell in that first picture of him, but he even had fur missing on his ears from neglect. It wasn't just abuse, it was neglect. I couldn't believe it, and.. well.. couldn't stomach it really. I literally carried around a 40 lb dog all over a pet store as if he were a child, picking out all the nicer things in life for him.. and he regarded me as his best friend ever since.

I'm very much a pacifist.. but I can honestly say.. I think if I were ever given the opportunity to sit down with whoever did whatever it is they did to him... well.. I don't know that they'd come out of that situation too well.

I bet he couldn't believe his luck finding someone like you to look after him, just such a shame someone else did too much damage. It makes me ashamed to be a human being sometimes if as a species, we can do this to another creature. Then lovely folk like yourself come along and provide love and care and it resores my faith in humanity. I am just sorry it had to end the way it did, for you, but at least he is safe and painfree.

It was an odd, odd meeting. I by no means think it was luck... it was just too strange a situation. Went to a rescue I'd never gone to.. on a whim.. and into the wing of the sickly ones.. which... already having a dog, I always tended not to do.. never know what you'll pick up there, no matter how clean they try and keep it.. and.. he ran towards me.. which actually frightened the boy giving me the tour, because he'd been terrified of everyone else from what I hear. For whatever reason.. that dog and I were supposed to meet. Never really believed in such a thing as fate, til that day. But I'm with you.. humans sometimes REALLY suck.

I agree and would be the same if I ever found who had hurt my Angel.
