art1972@sky.com
Guys, I am trying to put a page together on the bad things our loveable boys and girls do - with the rescues struggling to cope with incoming Huskies my plan is to do a "101 reasons not to get a Sibe" page on our website. If anyone can share pictures of Husky damage or videos of naughty huskies with me I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help. www.gobshite.webs.com

Sabien&Abs
High prey drive, often not suitable for homes with other small furries. Escape artists, need good high strong fencing that they cannot get over or dig their way under. Cannot let off lead - poor recall and will run and run and run. Lots of energy and need lots and lots of exercise. Destructive if bored. Will re-landscape your garden for you.

william hoffman
General rule of thumb for my puppy, if he's out of sight, he's probably causing a ruckus somewhere. Oh and yes on the high prey dive, a little bird flew into the house through the window and Duke ate it .

Removed #2
Need for a tremendous amount of exercise. This is not a dog that you tell you aren't going for a walk...also, you can't just have one!

Husky42
This thread is so very interesting to me, my old husky when I was a kid exhibited almost every "bad" characteristic. The one I've adopted has zero issues off lead, comes when called and is always attentive of my location. Dunno about the digging, he prefers to be in the barn with me in my room or laying on the hay. Chewing.. maybe he has nothing to chew yet haha :-) Then again.. it has not even been a week yet, i expected a lot of these "issues" with him before I adopted him but am just thrilled/surprised he has none of them yet.
