mike_p
Our fencing is just over 5 feet. and whilst pippa has never attempted to escpae over the fence, they explained that rescue dogs have a tendancy to go over the top per-say. and being just over 5foot is not good. What kind of fencing do you have? If it's fence panels then .... Your home check might come back saying everything's fine apart from the fence height. I would suggest you tell them that you were impressed by the homechecker's comment and accordingly you're going to add some trellis to the top of the fence. Tell them If you haven't managed to sort it before you take a dog, you'll make sure you keep the dog on a long line whenever it's in the garden. The kind of thing I have in mind is 6ft X 2ft trellis panels that attach to existing fence panels. eg http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/541000
Boondog
Standard Fencing Panels: I will take a look at that Wickes Link when at home later, see what we can do. Hopefully by then it wont be too late? They were lovely folks that came too, their family was lovely. They had 11 dogs in total http://www.xioniximo.co.uk/ and obviously lots wise words. Kind Regards Boondog
