He's on antibiotics, and it already seems to be a little less irritating. He isn't trying to scratch at it as much, anyway. Not sure if he figured out that it hurts when he does - or if the threat of the E-collar as I was fitting it to him (I didn't leave it on him since I was going to be where I could supervise) was sufficient! Owie...Poor Tux... Take this as a lesson lil furbaby....too many women bring you PAIN in response to moodly lusting. LOL! He isn't terribly lustful - he's neutered, and has been since he was about 6 months old. Young Zeke, on the other hand... well, he gets right uppity when the girls smell purty!
