Rob
We currently have a male & a female husky, the mrs would love to get a malamute but we have read that mals don't get on with dogs of the same sex. Does anyone have any idea if it is possible for us to own both or would it cause problems?
Taiya Blue and Miko too
be interested to read the answers on this one too cause Andy said last night "wouldn't mind a puppy when we're in our own house" (currently renting) "quite like the thought of a mally"

Rob
Were possibly thinking female mal, are they as known for same sex aggression as males?

shadow01
All the advice I can give is choose a breeder carefully, bit like with sibes really. A good breeder will know their dogs and suggest accordingly and also breed well where temprement is involved.

Ahny
I think it's like with any other dog breed. Any is possible. It's all about the individual dog that you are introducing to the situation. Also don't forget that if you anticipate the new dog to be agressive, chances are the dog will. If you go in with the attitute and belief that all will go well, chances are, it will.
snowpups
Yer it does work I have a mal and a huskymute both are fine with other dogs spirit does have issue with holllie but is fine with other females just her and hollie try to be dominate over each other if you get it from a pup you should be fine spirit lived with small dogs and they was both female I didn't get her till she was 7 months
