ShadowKia&Flynn
As most of you will be aware my mally shadow doesn't digest protein and as such is on a vet diet which cost £60 per bag, she does like it but we have found that she is starting to go off this and we cant put her on another because of her digestion issue but we know that she does like raw food so i was hoping that someone on here may be able to help me put a raw diet menu together which i may be able to start her on once Ive ran it past my vet first to make sure im not doing her any harm. She needs to keep at a weight between mid 20's and low 30's kg (she is only a small mally) or if anyone else has any other suggestions for food that confuses the gut so she gets the protein she needs i would be very grateful as i don't want her loosing weight again as its taken a while to get her back to normal again
Elyse
Have you tried asking your vet for a medication that will help her absorb the protein?

Elyse
its all diet controlled there isnt any medication to help with her problem Are you positive? I'm only saying this, because I personally have a problem with absorbing salt. My body doesn't absorb salt very well, so I either have to eat a LOT of it so more of it can get absorbed, or I have to take medication so all of the salt is absorbed. I don't take the medication; it makes me nauseous.
