Removed #5
Now I can't think of a sillier question, of course my dogs wear coats when the weather's wet, or cold, or hot ... in fact they wear their coats 24/7/365!!!

sutsibe
Mine usually carry such heavy coats that the only one I could think of that they might need (and tolerate!) would be one that was frozen to help keep them chilled in summer! Taylor Myers
So far all I've gotten Terra to wear is her Halloween costume: Too afraid to try anything else in fear she will tear it to shreds. xD
Shadowpup
I occationally put bandanas on the girls. Yuri is a fashion victem of my daughter (pic bellow) But no coats, although I am very tempted to get them wellingtons because the mud they tred in from the garden is horendous.... I've been cleaning the floor about 4-5 times a day because I don't want to walk over a mud bath lol

Willow
One of my Alaskan crosses wears what I call her "pajamas" which is a lite fleece coat. She wears it at races while sleeping in the dog van and during the day if it's really cold. I don't usually have to put coats on anyone else. Valsacar
I really hate putting clothes on dogs... they have that fur stuff for a reason! Now the Yoda, that's just too funny... I can agree for things like holloween (saw a spider man costume on a malamute the other day, dog did NOT look happy with that mask on). raindog
Seriously - the last thing a Siberian Husky should need is any kind of coat. The whole point of the breed is that they can withstand both the arctic cold and the heat of the Siberian summer, while functioning effectively as a sled dog. Their coat is "designed" for this (the result of thousands of years of evolution in conjunction with selective breeding). Clothing is a human conceit - totally unnecessary from the dog's point of view.
Mike Sheard
I have a fleece overall when Anik gets really dirty. It keeps the mud off the floor and the furniture. He dries pretty quick though. I have seen the Ruff Wear Swamp Cooler coat which is designed to cool your dog in hot weather that looks pretty useful.
