siberian_wolf
Just thought I had better do this before confussion gets involved. We are now planning on celebrating husky-owners first birthday by going camping for 3 nights I have closed the poll here now as we are now looking at campsites. Before a site is booked we need to know how many people and how many dogs are going to be coming camping and also what you would be sleeping in. If you can not come for the whole time camping but still would like to come for a day or so that would be great too Here is the link to the thread: http://www.husky-owners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3712

Or am i being greedy LOL If they have a campsite at Cannock chase that will take dogs, we can EDIT: Have found this site (below) but its from the camping and carvanning club so I dont think we would be allowed unless we were a member: http://www.siteseeker.co.uk/aspx/details.aspx?id=6070 I have also found this which has various camp site around Cannock so will have a look here and see what luck I get there http://www.bigfreeguide.com/camping/browse-campsites-nearest-to-cannock-65-1.html

siberian_wolf
will the meet up b on a saturday or sunday (for those ov us who cant make it 2 camp) most likely the meet up will be saturday or sunday as this will be when most members, who can't make the camping trip, are free Found another potential site: http://www.fullbrookfarm.co.uk/index.php Contacted them today and just had a reply and they said if there was alot of us and we could all fit on their site we can book the entire site to ourselves so the amount of dogs per pitch wouldnt be a problem (within a certain number obviously) and noise wouldnt be too much of a problem either What do you all think? siberian_wolf
Ohhh!!!!!!! THat sounds excellent - we could camp there from Say Friday to Monday and have the meet up on the Saturday or Sunday to celebrate the forum's birthday! exactly what I was thinking saz would need numbers as to how many of us tehre will be and how many tents/caravans/van etc tehre will be so I can phone and see if they would be able to fit all of us tehre. Checked on google maps and it looks like the site is about 15-30 mins drive away if everyone is ok with that
Sarah
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How about doing a new thread and explaining the other 2 threads are not in the running now and then we can get exact numbers - maybe do a poll? That way people can see the new info and decide Maybe the poll could be one option for coming camping and one for attending the meet up on the Saturday
