(as with almost all husky advice at first it seems ass backwards.) When they kick off. . . ALL PEOPLE MUST LEAVE THE ROOM, IMMEDIATELY. (and shut the door) One of them feels the need to PROTECT YOU. So by staying there, you prolong the conflict. Do not try to split them up as you have found, YOU get bit. (Been there, done that, got the Tshirt and the tetanus jab) When you leave the room you take away the reason for the fight and you'll find it goes quiet after about another 30 seconds. Wait another 30 seconds and go back in. you'll probably find they have either split up completely and are now busy licking each other to say sorry. or. . . One is still stood over the other, however you should be able to VERBALLY tell them to MOVE and BACK OFF to get them apart. This works for us. Tan J P Posted November 14, 2011 Report Share Posted November 14, 2011 put them all in the garden and just see what happens. if it goes to a full blown fight make sure you have a yard brush or a mop ready stick this inbetween them,when they part grab both collars and in very firm voice ''sit'' keep hold of their collars at arm's length and when they've sat,still holding the collars,stroke them up and down their chest this seems to put them almost trance-like. try it it does work,the bitch fights between Tia and Mishka were horrendous for the 1st few days. if you saw them now........you wouldn't believe they were same dogs they curl up and cuddle.
