So we've decided we're gonna do something simple and go for a meal Ok .... Maybe not that simple ..... Jos will pick us up from there and take us to see Dana and Glala (Sarah says this is a must LOL) and will go for a meal in his home town ..... And I said that if he wants to see the *real* Netherlands they're better of going to my homecity Alkmaar, which is not far away from Amsterdam. Amsterdam might be the most tourist-focussed city around here, it's also the place where you'll find less typical Dutch culture than anywhere else IMO. Amsterdam is an international city where people from all the around the world live. It's very lively, that's for sure, and definitely worth a visit, but I always recommend to visit the cities around it as well as they'll show you better what it's really like here And obviously, they can now meet Glala and Dana, which apparently was the only thing I had to say for Sarah in order to get them to here Can't wait!!
