Simon&Sophia
in MEGA prey drive mode? Qilaq saw a squirrel and for the first time, went into mighty morphin' power ranger mode to try and get this squirrel. Well, sort of....she just kept frantically running back and forth sniffing the ground and looking up the tree etc. The squeaky tennis ball is usually "prey" enough to get her to respond to me against anything we've had so far, but today - she wanted that damn squirrel haha
RIOTcore
oh yeah kiz does it ALL the time she literally launches towards the squarrell, wraps herself round trees an everything just to try get it, ugh nightmare
onlythisgirl
Yep! Roxy loves birds and will chase them, but god help us if she finds a squirrel, she'll chase after it, dragging me behind her and practically climb the tree it went up, then she will just sit and wait for aaaages
lovemysiberian
I have a lot of deer by my house and Echo just loses her mind. Taz was the same (and was successful in many pursuits of small animals), but it was much easier to snap him out of it than it is with Echo. Simon&Sophia
she was completely incensed haha. never seen her like it before. It was cool, i managed to snap her out of it eventually. It kind of strengthened my thoughts on her ever going offlead. Not that i needed anymore to help me make the decision. As i keep saying to people that ask, if its me and her in a field, she doesnt need to be off the 100ft, because she doesnt NEED to go anywhere does she? lol

Staceybob
Aleu is absolutely fine with birds, cats, all sorts... but squirrels... oh my god. It's the only thing that stops her from responding to me. Stacey xxx
