noheroesanymore
after teething? I'm having a hard time with teaching N not to bit. We have tried several things but it doesn't seem to work. She has big girl teeth and they hurt on hands. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated! Elyse
What things have you tried? Is she biting? Or she she only nipping/mouthing?
BingBlaze n Skyla
try n find 1 method that works n keep with it - dont keep changing it as it will just confuse ur pup - do u give her something to chew on whilst shes teething to help soothe her gums? SA DA KA
If she continues to bite, make a high pitch "ouch" or "yelp" sound, it reminds them when they were with their litter mates and how it sends the message, "that hurts". We did that at first and she kept doing it but she is improving so much since I wrote this.

It will take time, weeks or maybe even a couple of months! If she is improving it means you're doing a good job, just stick with it and she should get the idea
Husky_85
I know what yuo are going threw Riley who just turned 6 months old (time is flying) is finally starting to stop. the best method to use is when she nips at you walk away and turn your back to the pup. They will start to get the hang of it that when i nip my pack and the fun stops and goes away. They hate that TRUST ME we tried everything and this is what worked for us. Yes, she hates that and she knows she hurts.
