BlueWolf
Cam Abell's five-year-old chocolate lab dog, Charlie Brown, became caught in an animal trap recently near his home near Richer (Canada). Charlie Brown bit Abell as he tried to free him from the trap. Cam Abell was out for a Sunday morning stroll with his pooch Charlie Brown when the 135-pound chocolate lab found his way into a trap that was likely set out for a wolf or coyote. "He was caught. He couldn't bark because it was around his neck. He was dying," Abell said. Because it was choking, the dog began to panic and took a few chomps at his owner. The metal from the snare that was around Charlie Brown's neck shredded Abell's left hand while the frightened dog wound up biting his other hand. "It all happened so fast," Abell said. "I never really felt too much but I just wanted him to be saved." The rest of the story + photo: http://www.torontosun.com/2012/02/21/owner-saves-dog-from-wolf-trap --- The dog has survived. It's definitely one lucky dog. I can't understand these things are even legal, they're designed to choke the wolf that gets trapped into it. All in the name of what? "The joy of killing"?
