Autocorrection fail: Two schools evacuated

"A misconception led to the evacuation of two schools in Georgia. The auto-correction function of an iPhone 'corrected' the word "gunna" to "gunman" in a student's text message. The student wanted to write the message "Gunna be at West Hall," but the much criticized auto-correct function changed this to "Gunman at West Hall". To make it even worse the student sent this message to the wrong number by accident. The recipient, an unknown student, received the disturbing message and got the fright of his life. He called the police immediately, which out of precaution immediately evacuated a secondary and primary school with these names. The police emphasize that this was an just accident which can happen all the time."

I knew auto-correct was making many lives miserable every day but I did not realised it was THIS bad! :jawdrop:

Autocorrect is even more annoying when you're bilingual. In the end you spent more time checking if your words are actually there than writing the message itself. Is there ANYONE out there that actually likes the autocorrect?
