Chicken Thigh - Dog Swollow whole.

Hold it in your hand while he eats it so he cant swallow it when Vlad has his first wing he did swallow it whole, lucky he puked it back up whole and there was no damage .After that we fed him the wings from the hand .

Chicken wings would be better for a puppy that age the bones are easier to break with their teeth.

Thigh bones might be too much then if they swallow the big bone whole could get stuck and cause problems.

I wold cut it up into smaller chunks first.

You'll probably need a hacksaw or a large pair of pliers.

bit messy but better safe than sorry.

Did you mean to cut the chicken wings up too ?

No chicken wings are fine the bones are far smaller and even

a puppy can crunch through those. :up:

Aaaaannnd when they are fully grown you can give them whole pigs trotters.

watch them get chompy on those.

great source of calcium and if they get the runs

dries them up overnight. :)

yeah defrosted is great, or even frozen, especially in summer.

They have to work harder at them but they love the coolness.
