Sent from my Samsung Galaxy SII using Tapatalk. I always used my fingernails too! When I was (very) young I had my own taperecorder wich I brought with me pretty much everywhere. According to my parents the first word I could say was "Record?" I still have all the cassette tapes of things I recorded back then (starting from the age of 5 or something). I know how I always used tape to cover the holes on top so I could record over the original track. Aaah, good times. I might have to listen to them again one day...
